LEARN ABOUT KINGDOM PURPOSE CHURCH

LOVING GOD, LOVING PEOPLE >>>

Kingdom Purpose held its first in-person worship experience on January 15, 2023 at the Fairborn UMC facility on North Broad Street in the city of Fairborn.   Kingdom Purpose can be summarized as a Charismatic, Contemporary, Cross-cultural, Community-oriented, Christ-Centered body of believers.

We are charismatic and believe the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts are working through us daily. We are contemporary in that we provide a relaxed environment that seeks to eliminate elements that may be a hindrance to church participation. We are cross-cultural and seek to reflect the diverse cultural makeup of the city we are pursuing for Jesus, while becoming a church for all people. We are community-oriented by engaging with local community groups and leaders to serve our community. We are Christ-Centered and driven by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His commission to make disciples of all nations.

WHO WE ARE

MISSION & VISION

Our Mission is “To grow a community built on the hope of Jesus, while living lives that demonstrate and share our love for God and love for people.”

"Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” We believe that God not only wants us to love and serve God whom we have never seen but to demonstrate that love with our neighbor. This is what we hope to achieve as a church in East Dayton area.  Matthew 22 and Mark 12

Our Vision is “To help each person feel like they belong, find hope in Jesus, grow in their journey, and become someone who helps others to do the same.”  Philippines 1:27

OUR MINISTRY PHILOSOPHY

The Kingdom Purpose philosophy signifies the values that are foundational to why we do ministry the way we do. There are five points to this philosophy:

God is love and loves us unconditionally (1 John 4:16, 19)

Everyone is worthy of love (Ephesians 3:17-19)

Jesus showed his love for us through his incarnation, death, burial and resurrection. (Romans 5:8)

We are called to love others through serving, giving, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 22:37-39; John 13:35; Galatians 6:10; 2 Corinthians 8:1-2, 24; John 21:17)

We should all bring others to the knowledge of the God who first loved us (Matthew 28:19-20)
